Fairfax County Crime Solvers is seeking the public’s assistance identifying the man responsible for stealing a truck from a car dealership. On Tuesday, December 1, the owner of a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado dropped his truck off for service at Page Chevrolet, located at 6500 Little River Turnpike in the Annandale area. Per dealership request, the vehicle was left unlocked with the keys in the ignition and parked inside a service bay.
Around 6:18 p.m. a man entered the service bay, which was closed, and climbed into the truck. He drove it out of the bay then off the property. The dealership was still open when the truck was stolen. The truck is black in color with Virginia license plates: VCK-1302. The suspect was described as black, heavy-set, with a distinctive walk. He was captured on surveillance video and detectives are hopeful someone will recognize him.
