Crime Solvers Seeks Malicious Wounding Suspect; Additional Private Reward of $25,000 Offered

Fairfax County Crime Solvers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the man responsible for stabbing another man in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 1.

A 24-year-old man from the Vienna area and his 26-year-old girlfriend, were celebrating Halloween at the Clyde’s restaurant, located at 11905 Market Street in Reston Town Center. Around 1:21 a.m. another man in the bar approached the girlfriend and began to flirt with her. A verbal argument between the two men erupted and escalated into a physical altercation. The unknown man produced a knife and reportedly stabbed the boyfriend, then fled.

The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives investigating this malicious wounding are hopeful someone else in the crowded bar may have witnessed this altercation and may be able to help identify the suspect. He was described as Hispanic, wearing a black jacket, a white shirt and blue jeans.

In addition the cash reward of $100 to $1,000 being offered by Crime Solvers, a private cash reward of $25,000 is also being offered for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
