Crime Solvers Seeks Suspect in Recent Weapons Cases

Fairfax County Crime Solvers is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person responsible for discharging a gun and striking two buildings in two separate incidents in the Herndon area of Fairfax County earlier this month.

The first incident occurred on Monday, August 3, around 10 p.m. at a business in the 2200 block of Monroe Street. The second incident occurred between the hours of 10 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, and 8 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, at a business in the 2200 block of Corporate Drive.

In each incident the business was closed. The suspect fired several shots, striking the front of each building and fled. The Town of Herndon Police Department has had two similar incidents as well. Their incidents occurred during the overnight hours of Thursday, July 23 into Friday morning, July 24 and Tuesday, July 28 into Wednesday morning, July 29.

Detectives continue to follow up on leads in these cases and ask anyone with information to contact Crime Solvers.
