Crime Solvers Issues a Public Safety Challenge in Their Annual 5K run!

Fairfax County Crime Solvers wants to step up the competition with our upcoming 5K run. We have issued a Public Safety Challenge to all employees of the police department, fire department and the Sheriff’s Office!

Do you work for one of these agencies? If so, start talking to your friends and encourage your co-workers to register with you! There are two ways to win the Public Safety Challenge:
1 – The team/agency with the most participants wins the Crime Solvers 5K Public Safety Challenge trophy!
2 – The top four runners’ times from each team will be averaged together. The team with the best combined time wins! Each group of four must include at least one male and one female runner. The top scoring team goes home with awards!

Compete for awards and bragging rights!

To sign up on a team, the runner must be employed by that agency. Visit our 5K website to register. Make sure you click the tab to register on a group/team and select the appropriate team. This run is open to the public. All other runners who are not part of a team may simply fill out the registration form online.

The early registration fee of $25 ends on July 4. You may then register for the regular fee of $30 online through July 30. You may also register the morning of the race for $35.

Grab your running shoes and start prepping for the run today! Who do you think will win this year’s Public Safety Challenge?
